Michael McGowan is a former State/CMS Region IX OASIS coordinator and president of OPERACARE, based in Socorro NM. He created OPERACARE to mirror the data mining techniques he learned at CMS and give its users the edge to thrive in value-based payment systems. The company utilizes proactive OASIS analytics and evidence-based practice to guide utilization, control costs, and improve patient outcomes providing financial predictability. The company’s remote monitoring services mimic Intermediaries and audit contractor’s activities to expose your risks and validate the care you deliver.
Vice President, Clinical Operations
Kristi Bajer BSN, RN, COS-C has spent the last 12 years working in home health. Starting in the field she has held positions as DON, administrator, and regional director. She brings her real-world experience in process management to OPERACARE guiding clients in updating their OASIS processes for optimal efficiency in PDGM. She also teaches agencies how to best manage change, use evidence -based practice to control utilization, while increasing patient outcomes and complete and lock their OASIS is 24hrs or less.
